The KIOSK 422 – a new art place in Dinslaken / Lohberg
When approximately 80 years ago a small wooden house was established by the wall of the coal mine in Lohberg, this small house served first as a waiting station on the streetcar in the “Ruhrpott” and particularly as a kiosk.
The kiosk, situated in a lot of used high street, was decades a drop-in centre for the most different human groups. The sales were put sometime into 90s, the kiosk stood since then unused by the wall.

Britta L.QL discovered this former kiosk and she recognised it immediately as an attractive place for exhibitions and other cultural actions.
